Raw honey has many medicinal purposes. Harvested from Hollenview Farms in Candor, NY, this honey is not only great to aide in seasonal allergies (flowers specific to Tioga, NY-- look into using local honey for your allergies*!), the best cough syrup additive, but can be used on wounds to promote healthy, holistic healing!
How to use this honey to treat wounds:
- Clean the wound thoroughly
- Apply the generously to the surface of the wound
- Cover the layer of honey with sterile gauze
- Wrap the wound with a bandage
- Change the wound dressing daily
*Seasonal Allergy Aide:
- Taken by the spoonful for ages 2+
- Tioga, NY allergens (if considering taking honey outside of this area for seasonal allergies, consider a local (to you!) apiary!
Cough Syrup Like No Other!:
- Taken by the spoonful for ages 2+
- Place 3/4 cup diced raw onion in a mason jar
- Top off with honey
- After twelve (12) hours, a thin liquid will start to appear... this us your cough syrup and can be used!
- Once honey is no longer thick, strain the liquid into a new clean mason jar and discard the onions
- Take a spoonful of thin liquid when you have a cough
- Lasts indefinitely!
